SPATIAL PLANNING


We specialize in preparing spatial planning documents at national, municipal, and local levels. Particular attention is given to cross sectoral planning, sustainable development, and the integration of environmental principles. We shape vibrant places aligned with national strategic priorities.

SMART Ankara – SUMP Development 2026

Following the development and analysis of 6 future scenarios, a vision for a productive, resilient and green city was selected. JASPERS SUMP Training and Capacity Building Programme 2026

An EC and EIB-funded programme delivering SUMP training across 22 countries. The sessions introduced key methodologies and practices related to mobility management, strategic planning, public transport, monitoring and road safety. Implementation of the Project „Strengthening Effective SUMPs in Baltic Cities“, Panevėžys 2026

Data collection methodology and practical solutions were developed for a pilot project involving 10 schools in Panevėžys to analyse pupils’ travel patterns. GIZ: Preparation of Recommendations for Traffic Impact Assessment in Tbilisi 2021

Transport planning processes in Tbilisi were analysed and opportunities were explored to forecast and manage the impacts of planned development projects on mobility. Training for various institutions, prepared recommendations on traffic impact assessment and sustainable urban mobility policy were delivered.

A vision and action plan shaping transport choices and mobility behaviour, reducing private car use, improving PT efficiency, conditions for active mobility. Social, economic and environmental challenges addressed through an integrated planning approach. Following an analysis of development trends, spatial planning and engineering solutions addressing the future needs of Kaunas Airport as a strategically important part of the country’s transport infrastructure are being developed.

Infrastructure, development needs and opportunities analysed, environmental and economic aspects and development trends assessed. A policy instrument elaborating Lithuania’s urban development framework. Identification of Low Emission Zones in Lithuanian Municipalities 2024

A study establishing criteria for ranking municipalities to create a priority list for LEZ planning. The project identified cities where LEZ implementation would provide the greatest added value through improved air quality, reduced air and noise pollution, and the promotion of sustainable travel. https://www.lsa.lt/

Humanisation of Vilnius’ Streets 2025

Street redesign proposals for 6 areas of Vilnius to create safer and more comfortable conditions for pedestrians and cyclists while reducing noise and pollution. Cities. Multimodal Vilnius 2018

The project explores multimodality opportunities in Vilnius. Antakalnis district SUMP was developed where feasibility for integrating different transport modes were assessed. Vilkaviškis City Master Plan Amendment 2022

The project addressed social, economic and environmental challenges while creating conditions for a sustainable living environment.
